Why does Ghelamco process the personal data?

The personal data is being processed for the purposes of customer and contract management and Ghelamco’s dispute management.

The processing activities (in the context of customer and contract management) are necessary for the performance of the agreement if we have concluded the relevant agreement directly with you.

If we have entered/are about to enter into the relevant agreement not directly with you, but with your company, the related processing is based on our legitimate interest, i.e. being able to enter into/perform the necessary services in relation to that agreement with your company.

We process your data in order to safeguard our dispute management. These processing activities are based on our legitimate interest in defending ourselves and providing evidence in potential future disputes.

When you enter your contact details on our web form, for instance to obtain more information about one of our projects, you consent to us using these details to contact you.

We may also use your personal data for direct marketing (sending newsletters). If you are not an existing customer (processing on the basis of the so-called “soft opt-in”, to which you can object at any time), we always ask for your permission.

Ghelamco may use other service providers to process personal data, which will then act as a data processor (e.g. in the context of CRM: SalesForce, Mailchimp…). As you can see below, you can ask us to delete certain data at any time. Ghelamco will always comply with this request if the legal conditions to do so are fulfilled.
